Osaka Castle

                           
Osaka Castle is one of the best spots for cherry blossom viewing in Osaka. During the peak season, the park around the castle is filled with cherry trees and they make for some exellent photos with the castle in the background.  Beside cherry blossom the place is also famouse for plum blossom, which normally bloom in late winter (early March)/

Best time for viewing:from late March to early April.

Opening Hours: No limit / Admission: Free / No closing days
Castle Tower
Opening Hours: 0900 to 1700 (entrance till 1630) /Admission: 600 yen / Closed 28 December to 1 January
Nishinomaru Garden
Usual Opening Hours: 0900 to 1700 (until 1630 from November to February) / Admission: 200 yen / Closed on Mondays and New Year Holidays
Access: about 25-minute by train from Osakako station.
